Variable Frequency Drive with hands-on

Course Description:

VFDs are used in applications ranging from small appliances to the largest of mine mill drives and compressors. However, around 25% of the world’s electrical energy is consumed by electric motors in industrial applications, which are especially conducive for energy savings using VFDs in centrifugal load service,[5] and VFDs’ global market penetration for all applications is still relatively small. That lack of penetration highlights significant energy efficiency improvement opportunities for retrofitted and new VFD installations (Source: Wikipedia)

Our approach is a fusion of practical discussions and application. It teaches professionals how they can increase efficiency and improve VFD control. It provides a deeper appreciation of AC motors on workplace issues. The course focuses on building a strong fundamental understanding of VFD, compressed in a period of 8 hours, ensuring less time investment for a hefty amount of returns.

Training objective:

At the end of the training, the participants will be able to:

  • Know how does VFD operate, program, wiring, and save energy
  • Know some applications of VFD on the Industries
