COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) is a tool that allows for a comprehensive assessment of these three as it facilitates the identification of what can go wrong, what impact these have to the organization, and which mitigation efforts need to be prioritized. 2. FMECA Process and Methodology: 

• Steps Overview: The FMECA Process.
• Identifying System, Functions, and Failure modes.
• Failure Effects and Root Cause Analysis.
• Exercises and Basic Tools for RCA
• Criticality calculations.
• Identifying High Risks and Priorities.
• Formulating Plans for Mitigation.
• Following up on corrective action implementation and effectiveness.

3. Criticality Analysis and Risk Assessment: 

• Understanding Severity, Occurrence, and Detection ratings.
• Calculating the Risk Priority Number (RPN).
• Calculation Exercises
• Analyze and Prioritize Failure Modes
