SUMMARY:Innovation and Design Thinking (Workshop)
DESCRIPTION:Click Here to REGISTER \n  \n\nCourse Overview\n\nDesign Thinking prescribes that before you solve or build anything\, begin by understanding. Understand the people you want to build for. Understand without judgment and with empathy. \nIt prescribes that if we take the take the time to really understand\, we’ll have a much clearer view of the problem that needs to be solved. Once we find that problem to anchor on\, we then generate lots of ideas\, rapidly decide what we think is best then just as rapidly prototype and test it. \nWith a little bit of lecture to explain the key concepts\, this action packed course allows you to understand Design Thinking by design doing. Participants will identify a challenge related to their current goals and then resolve that challenge using the lessons they learn in the workshop. \n\nLearner Objectives  / Outcomes\n\nBy the end of this workshop\, participants should know \n\nA base understanding of Design Thinking as a mindset and framework\nHow to gain understanding by asking the right questions\nHow to convert challenges into opportunities using How Might We Statements (HMW)\nHow to generate a lot of ideas and decide on the best idea without spending too much time in debate\nHow to create tangible representations of their ideas using prototypes\nHow to collect feedback with their prototypes through user testing\n\n\nWorkshop Agenda\n\n  \nDay 1 Agenda \n  \n\n\n\nhh:mm\nTopic / Activity\n\n\n1:00\nIntroductions and Course Overview\n\n\n0:45\nKey Concepts on Innovation and Design\n\n\n0:15\nIdentify Challenges\, Grouping\n\n\n0:45\nEmpathize: Introduction and Practice Interviews\n\n\n0:30\nEmpathize: Prep for interviews\n\n\n2:00\nEmpathize: Lunch and Live Interviews\n\n\n0:30\nDefine: Making Proto Personas\n\n\n0:45\nDefine: Making Journey Maps\n\n\n0:30\nDefine: How Might We Statements\n\n\n0:30\nWrap up\, Debrief and What to Expect\n\n\n\n  \nDay 2 Agenda \n  \n\n\n\nhh:mm\nTopic / Activity\n\n\n1:00\nRecap and Presentation of Day 1 Output\n\n\n0:30\nHow Might We Statements\n\n\n1:00\nIdeation: Brainstorming Done Right\n\n\n0:30\nPrototyping: Storyboarding & Prototyping Intro\n\n\n2:00\nPrototyping: Lunch and Prototyping Continued\n\n\n1:00\nTest: Usability Testing and Presentation\n\n\n0:45\nWrap up\, Debrief and What to Expect\n\n\n0:45\nRetrospective and Feedback Collection\n\n\n\n \nRegistration Instructions:  \n1.
